Melvin is cleaning at the local gym when he falls victim to a malicious prank by local bullies. He is thrown out of a third-floor window and lands in a barrel of radioactive waste. Instead of melting to death, Melvin absorbs the deadly chemicals and transforms into THE TOXIC AVENGER – a righteous mutant who battles his former tormentors, as well as the many villains and corrupt politicians of Tromaville.
