In 10th-century Hälsingland, a missionary and his entourage disappear. Among those chosen to find the missing is Nanna, a young orphaned woman raised in the royal court. Nanna's first mission as a soldier takes her back to the deep forests where she was born. But what they eventually find there is something far worse than outlaws and murderers. Something dark, ancient, and evil. A Viking-era horror adventure filmed and produced in Bollnäs by the filmmaking duo Karin Engman and Klas Persson, who previously created the award-winning web series "The Great Dying." "Draug" won awards for Best Actor (Thomas Hedengran) and Best Music (Klas Persson, Vampire Bytes) at the Screamfest LA film festival.
