Director Frank (Frank LaLoggia) is facing increasing problems with completing the film "A Peacock's Tale." Things get even more complicated when someone starts killing people seemingly inspired by his work. But is this reality or just the product of an overheated and overstressed mind?
"Nightmare Symphony" is a bloody love letter to Giallo in general and Lucio Fulci's "A Cat in the Brain" in particular. The extremely prolific director Domiziano Cristopharo (eROTik, The House Guest) presents us with a killer in a bird mask (à la Georges Franju's masterful "Judex" or Michele Soavi's "Stage Fright"), and extremely stylized violence in a genre homage further elevated by music from Antony Coia and a theme by none other than Fabio Frizzi.
