Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer Part 2

In this sequel to John McNaughton's acclaimed 1986 film, we meet Neil Giuntoli in the role of Henry. He continues his restless and drifting lifestyle, killing people when the opportunity arises. During one of his odd jobs as a portable toilet installer, he is offered a place to stay by his colleague Kai (Rich Komenich), who shares the house with his wife Crickett (Kate Walsh) and her younger sister Louisa (Carri Levinson). A home situation marked by sexual tensions and poorly suppressed violent impulses soon becomes a reality. When Kai initiates his new friend into the side gig as an arsonist, he has little idea that Henry's inclinations make these insurance frauds seem relatively tame. But by then, it's already too late, and the killing begins. Director Chuck Parello delivers a film that is just as ruthless and dark in its view of humanity as the original. The fact that Robert F. McNaughton is responsible for the music here ensures tonal continuity. The film contains many violent scenes that are not suitable for the squeamish.
